As a person from a big city, I am pretty accustomed to being around different people. What was surprising about going overseas as a TEFL teacher is how much respect and care you receive as a teacher, from the youngest student to the most experienced local teacher. They really make you feel welcome and appreciated, I love it, you'll love it too.
